Waiting hours for a cellphone to charge may become a thing of the past, thanks to an 18-year-old high-school student’s invention. She won a $50,000 prize Friday at an international science fair for creating an energy storage device that can be fully juiced in 20 to 30 seconds.

But if you’re going to lay the blame for that somewhere, for fuck’s sake, don’t blame the woman. Blame all the guys who have called her a bitch and a cunt for ignoring their advances. Blame all the guys who may have harassed, abused, or assaulted her in the past. Blame all the people who may never do such a thing themselves, but who were quick to blame her and tell her to just get over it. Blame the fact that if she stops and talks to you and then something bad happens, people will blame her for stopping and talking to you.

I noticed that last night and made a post on it. Honestly, of things on the sliding scale of “douche bag boyfriend” themed Kpop songs, it’s not very high for me (Teen Top’s No More Perfume on You, and B1A4’s Baby Goodnight piss me off WAAAAY more when I think about the lyrics and watch the vids, and those’re SINGLES, which make it so much worse). I face palmed at Stop Resisting, honestly. It could have been much worse in terms of pressuring her more meanly/forcefully, which is probably why it annoys me rather than pisses me off. :/
You can always buy the other songs on iTunes, though. Just buy the songs individually and don’t buy Stop Resisting.

where did i say vixx was entirely to blame? of course they can’t fucking say no, they’re too young of a band to have any kind of sway in their image.
However, they’re an image for the company to sell and make money off of, and just because they’re only the faces doesn’t mean all the blame is void from them, if you want to write them off as complete innocents as they go up on stage and sing this song and give young girls the idea they aren’t allowed to say no to sex whenever their boyfriend wants it then go ahead, you’re free to do so.
