You also did include in your post that if the artist didn’t like it to let you know. I don’t really ever see that with others. Usually there will be comments asking for fic and then someone writing fic, but no one thinks of the artist.

I’ve seen first hand fanartist get into arguments with some fic writers for posting fic to their art, so I thought it to be better safe then sorry.
