i got them pierced when i was around 12 or 13, and they got infected really bad. my right ear lobe swelled up from scar tissue (better known as a keloid—i don’t reccommend googling it bc the pics are nasty looking) and i had to get surgery to remove all the scar tissue.
the doctor told me that if i got them pierced again it would just get worse. it’s been years since that surgery and my right ear lobe still swells up with nasty infections all the time that i have to pop and drain it’s really icky lol

i used to be on generic birth control but i never skipped taking the ones that regulated the days i had my period since the only benefit was it made my periods much lighter. otherwise it:
- i gained weight
- i would get over emotional
- it stopped working to ease my cramps
- i would forget to take it everyday (im horrible at taking pills sigh)
i’ve thought about trying the ones that skip over your period for months at a time but im scared of the side effects :X I’ve also thought about an IUD but when I asked my mom about those she was like ‘NO’, so that ends that.

I in no way intended to ‘promote’ my writing or any harmful intent towards the artist. I saw the image and was like ‘goddamn this is art fucking beautiful I wonder what happened to David D:’ and when that came to mind I started writing. If people like my writing and then like/rebog, then they like it. If they don’t, well they don’t. It’s no skin off my bones either way, it doesn’t hurt my feelings.
You’d be surprised how many fan-artist on tumblr there are that throw such a hissy fit over someone writing fic to post along with their art :/
